2010 was such a great year for me! I'm so thankful for the sweetest friends, old and new, that anyone could have, for an incredible job that I love...and for the amazing opportunities that the Lord provides for me. As I drove to Oklahoma for Christmas, I was just overwhelmed by God's goodness. Not just in His provision, but in every single breath He's given me. I'm striving in 2011 to consistantly live in that state of being overwhelmed with gratitude.
I usually don't make resolutions for fear of failure. But this year I'm committing to memorizing scripture. It has become a burden to me that many of the attitudes of my heart and actions of my life would be changed if I spent more time contemplating the Word of God and pondering that in my heart, instead of being so caught up in my own thoughts. Beth Moore has a Scripture Memory Team...and I'm copying her. If you want to join me...just let me know! I'd be happy to have some company in this committment!
I'm excited for a new year...for new adventures...and for whatever things the Lord has in store for each of us!
And because I'm more than completely in love with the kids in Kenya....
